Admin can invite members to a Kitty via their mobile phone number, or they can share the Kitty URL and users may request to join the Kitty.  The Admin must approve any request to join.

Members can leave at any time. If a Member is currently a Spender, they will be refunded their equal share of the Kitty and any top-up amounts which they had paid in which were not completed. All Members contribute equally and are entitled to an equal share of the balance if they request a refund or leave the Kitty. By paying in an equal share of the current available balance, a Member will become a Spender and can activate/use a virtual debit card linked to the Kitty.

If a Spender requests a refund, they will be refunded their share of the Kitty as per the Refund Policy. Spender can receive a refund based on their equal share of the balance by clicking on "I'm out" or the "Request refund" button. If a Spender has paid in a current top-up contribution which was not completed they will be refunded the top-up amount in addition to their equal share of the Kitty. The Admin may also use the "Refund Kitty" function which will refund all Spenders at the same time.

Refunds are not provided to Members/Spenders. The Admin can refund the Kitty and the balance of funds will be transferred to the Admin's account. If the Admin closes the Kitty the balance will be transferred to the Admin's account.

Spender's can "Request a top up" for a specified amount. Current Spender's will receive a notification requesting them to pay in additional funds. The funds in a top-up request are not available in the Kitty to be spent until all Spenders have paid in.  The Admin can cancel a top up request at any time, and any paid in amounts will be returned to the users.

Current Spenders can contribute additional funds to a Kitty via the "Transfer funds to Kitty" menu item. These contributions are not equal and go straight to the Kitty balance.
