KittyCard £500 Kitty Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is KittyCard Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14905528), whose registered office is at 1 & 2 Studley Court Mews Studley Court, Guildford Road, Chobham, Surrey, United Kingdom, GU24 8EB.

2. Competition Period

The competition opens at 00:00 on 1st May 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 31st October 2026 (“Competition Period”).

3. Eligibility

3.1. Entry is open to individuals aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom at the time of entry.

3.2. Employees, officers, contractors, and agents of the Promoter (and any associated companies or companies in the same group as the Promoter) and their immediate family members or household members are not eligible to enter.

3.3. The competition is open to users of the KittyCard app who form a Kitty consisting of at least three people (including the creator) during the Competition Period.

3.4. Users must complete all relevant account verification (including KYC) as required by KittyCard to be eligible.

4. Entry Requirements

4.1. To enter, you must create a Kitty with at least two other members with a minimum Kitty value of £10 and make at least one card transaction using Apple Pay or Google Pay during the Competition Period.

4.2. Each eligible group that creates a qualifying Kitty will automatically receive one entry into the prize draw.

4.3. Users may enter as many qualifying Kittys as they like; each Kitty constitutes a separate entry.

4.4. Registered KittyCard members may also enter the competition free of charge, without creating a qualifying Kitty or making a transaction, by sending a postcard or letter containing their full name, postal address, and the words “KittyCard £500 Kitty Competition” to KittyCard Ltd, 1 & 2 Studley Court Mews Studley Court, Guildford Road, Chobham, Surrey, United Kingdom, GU24 8EB, to arrive no later than the closing date of the Competition Period. Each free postal entry shall carry the same chance of winning as an entry made under clause 4.1. Only one free entry per person is permitted.

5. Prize

5.1. There is one (1) prize available: a £500 Kitty (held in the KittyCard app) credited to the winning group’s Kitty.

5.2. The prize will be awarded as a credit into a qualifying group Kitty chosen by the winner.

5.3. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is offered. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

6. Winner Selection

6.1. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period.

6.2. The draw will take place within 14 days after the closing date and will be supervised by an independent person.

6.3. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Notification

7.1. The winner will be notified by in-app message or email within 7 days of the draw.

7.2. If a winner does not respond to the notification within 14 days of being contacted, the prize may be forfeited and an alternative winner selected at random.

7.3. The decision of the Promoter is final and binding in all matters relating to the competition.

8. Data Protection & Publicity

8.1. By entering the competition, entrants acknowledge that the Promoter will process their personal data as necessary for the purposes of administering the competition, contacting winners, and fulfilling its obligations under these Terms and Conditions. The lawful basis for this processing is the Promoter’s legitimate interests in running and administering the competition.

8.2. Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

8.3. By entering, the winner agrees to the use of their first name and county of residence in publicity material directly relating to the competition. The winner may opt out of publicity by notifying the Promoter in writing within 7 days of being notified of their win.

9. General

9.1. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

9.2. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition or these Terms and Conditions at any time if reasonably necessary, provided that the Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to notify entrants of any material changes via the KittyCard app or by email.

9.3. No responsibility is accepted for entries that are incomplete, lost, delayed, corrupted, or misdirected, or for any technical failures, malfunctions, or difficulties that may prevent entry.

9.4. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions. Participants based in Scotland and Northern Ireland must have the right to bring the matter before their local courts.

9.5. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter’s liability in connection with the competition and the prize shall not exceed the value of the prize. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
